Marcy makes in house lactation visits in the privacy of your own home or even in the early days at the hospital. Marcy also offers private breastfeeding classes in the home for expectant mothers.

Rest Assured Postpartum Doula Care is not exclusively for birth parents. I offer support to those who have decided to adopt a baby or use a surrogate mother. Often times these situations can be overwhelming. Allow me to help you ease into parenthood with my postpartum doula or infant specialist services.
Multiple Babies - Twins, Triplets, Quadruplets and more
There is no job too big for Rest Assured Postpartum Doula Care. Let us help you with your twins, triplets, quadruplets (or more!). If necessary, I can team up with another postpartum doula or infant specialist for your triplets or quadruplets. I have personally worked with triplets on my own. No matter your needs, you can count on Rest Assured Postpartum Doula Care to help with your multiples care.
Postpartum Doula Care in 24 Hour Shifts
Many couples and new parents find it helpful to have a postpartum doula for a 24 hour shift. It can be beneficial to have a postpartum doula stay for 3 to 4 consecutive 24 hour shifts, then have the postpartum doula come 6 times per week until mom is on her feet and the family has adjusted. This can be as short as a week and as long as 6 weeks+. There are many factors that can determine how long the postpartum doula stays with a family. Here are some indications:
- Surgical or vaginal birth
- Multiple babies (Twins, Triplets, Quadruplets and more)
- Other siblings in the home
- Other postpartum support from family or friends (Can your mom or mother-in-law stay for only 5 days?)
- Special needs for the newborn
- Postpartum Depression for the new mom
Holiday Care
The rates for holidays are higher than other days. I recognize the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Valentine's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Eve
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve

Travel Assistance
This service is provided when I can arrange my schedule to meet your needs. Arrangements for travel assistance need to be made in advance to accommodate everyone's schedule. In addition to a daily postpartum doula fee, traveling expenses will be paid for by the client, including transportation, meals and accommodations.
Miscellaneous Services
I have faced some of the same ups and downs that you may face when you bring your baby home from the hospital. I am available to be a support and resource for you and your family. I can help you with your baby during this transitional time with any questions or other support you may need.
Other Postpartum Doulas
If for some reason I am unavailable to work with you and your family, I know of other wonderful postpartum doulas that might be able to help you with your needs. I know them personally and would not hesitate hiring them as a doula if I was ever in a position of needing a doula.
